Current Events and News

  • 01.2016: Editor in Chief of the EURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing.

  • 12.2015: Start of the European research project Orpheus which is dedicated to improving the management of audio content to create new user experiences. In this project, we will develop, implement and validate a new end-to-end object-based media chain for audio content.

  • 06.2015: The Speech Enhancement course can now be taken as a mandatory elective in the study programs EEI and CME.

  • 06.2015: Congratulations to Dr.-Ing. Oliver Thiergart for successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis Flexible multi-microphone acquisition and processing of spatial sound using parametric sound field representations.

  • 12.2014: We are pleased to welcome Prof. Sharon Gannot who is visiting our group from 8.12 until 16.12.

  • 12.2014: The paper "Late reverberant spectral variance estimation based on a statistical model" by Emanuel Habets, Israel Cohen and Sharon Gannot received the 2014 SPS Signal Processing Letters Best Paper Award.
