The University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Erlangen, Germany, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS recently posted an opening for a W2 professorship on Audio Signal Processing with focus on Internet of Things (link see below). There is room for many aspects, such as distributed signal processing, compressed sensing, low power processing, event detection and much more. The position is located at the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen (AudioLabs) and has an initial term of 5 years. The official posting can be found here.
